Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at Warburtons Ltd. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting and strengthening our existing health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Site Lead to ensure site progress in line with the national safety agenda
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a Health and Safety Manager role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to make significant decisions in a timely manner, challenging when appropriate
  • Experience of delegating and inspiring others to take responsibility for HS&E
  • Evidence of improving the safety culture through recognised channels
