We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing site at Vistry Works Warrington. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory, including the management of production staff, achieving production deadlines and quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards
  • Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity, reducing costs and improving quality
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded as needed
  • Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that all orders and logistical requirements are met
  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill and reskill production staff, improving their knowledge and skills
  • Monitor and report on production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity, reducing costs and improving quality
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and company policies
