Job Title: Heritage Consultant

Job Summary:

Hunter Dunning Ltd is seeking a skilled Heritage Consultant to join their team in London. As a Heritage Consultant, you will play a crucial role in preserving and protecting cultural heritage sites and monuments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of Conservation Architects, Heritage Planners, Surveyors, and Historic Building Consultants to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and project teams to present complex heritage issues clearly and concisely.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including heritage assessments, impact statements, and documentation required for planning submissions.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental and heritage legislation and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's heritage preservation strategies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a commercial consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the planning process, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Familiarity with relevant environmental and heritage legislation and guidance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
