We are seeking a seasoned Senior Heritage Consultant or Associate Director to join our dynamic team at Allen & York. As a key member of our environmental consultancy, you will manage a diverse portfolio of heritage-related projects, providing expert advice to clients on planning processes and contributing to new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare heritage impact assessments and provide expert advice at various stages of development
  • Act as an expert witness when required and grow the consultancy's client base through networking and maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Assess the impact of changes on heritage assets and provide solutions to mitigate any negative effects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a relevant role
  • Strong understanding of planning and heritage legislation
  • Ability to assess the impact of changes on heritage assets
  • Membership with IHBC and experience with EIA assessments
