About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Real Life Options. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and Autism to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with complex needs, including challenging behaviors, to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support plans are in place.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a support worker role, although full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and waking night shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
  • PVG membership required.
