About the Role

SYR - Shoreside Superyacht Recruitment is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team, working on the generation of 2D drawings from 3D CAD files for construction and fabrication projects.

As a leading engineer studio, we are known for our innovative design and retrofit projects, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us meet the demands of the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Converting 3D CAD files into 2D drawings using Autocad
  • Ensuring that drawings and outputs meet commercial vessel class and flag requirements
  • Storing CAD files in our in-house PLM system and releasing them to shipyards as required
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with experience in large commercial vessel new build or refit, who is adept at converting 3D files into 2D drawings and is confident in challenging others and modifying drawings as needed.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects and collaborate with some of the best engineers and naval architects in the marine sector.
