Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including VMware, AWS, and Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline and enhance the software delivery process.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.
  • Automate operational processes and enhance deployment strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and practices for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Expertise in managing and monitoring VMware environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
What We Offer:

Basic salary £50-55,000 + excellent benefits. Based Chorley (Lancashire) and remote in a hybrid role.
