About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Garic Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing the movement of vehicles within our multi-depot network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization
    • Develop and implement efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Collaborate with drivers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Manage and coordinate the movement of vehicles, including scheduling and dispatch
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Use data analysis tools to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics team members to ensure seamless operations
    • Provide support and guidance to team members as needed
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 1+ year of experience in transport planning or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Education
    • Degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field
