About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Wharfeside, a purpose-built home providing excellent care for residents with varying degrees of support.

Job Purpose

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and offering sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of our residents' lives. Your contributions will be inspiring and enjoyable as you build strong relationships based on understanding, trust, and genuine care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, listening to their concerns and needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of a warm and welcoming environment, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
