About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at DX Network Services Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth across our parcel and freight services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our General Manager and Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and business plans for your territory, ensuring maximum utilization of our fleet capacity and collection services.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with our company's growth objectives across all services, including parcel and freight.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our Bid Management Team to deliver effective tender responses and secure new contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform our sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to share best practices, knowledge, and expertise, ensuring a consistent and high-quality sales experience for our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the logistics and parcel delivery sector.
  • Strong understanding of the parcel and freight market, including industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
