Performance and Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Performance and Data Analyst to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Performance and Data Analyst, on a 6-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To analyze performance management information, develop and monitor performance targets, and support service areas in using data to drive improvement, contributing proposals for remedial action where required.
  • To collate, analyze, monitor, and challenge outturns and trends from performance management information to enable emerging issues to be brought to the attention of colleagues and advise service managers of implications to enable action to be taken to improve service delivery.
  • To liaise with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and other relevant organizations to benchmark performance and inform service improvement.
  • To ensure data contributes towards the Council meeting its statutory duties, particularly in relation to equalities, regulators, and statistical returns.
  • To develop policies, systems, and procedures on data handling and information sharing to ensure high-quality data and outcomes and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Council's services.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the role and functions of local government.
