About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Aon Underwriting Managers. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating risks and exposures of potential clients against insurance covers, determining premiums, and issuing policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite major classes of business for public sector risks, including Motor, Property, and Liability.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with supporting insurers and clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and their brokers.
  • Assist in product development and contribute to the growth of our public sector business.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maven Public Sector team to meet annual financial business targets.
  • Engage with Aon National, third-party brokers, and clients to enhance our public sector product offerings.
Requirements
  • Some underwriting experience, preferably in the public sector.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organized and proactive approach to problem-solving.
