Location: Bournemouth Area

Salary: £31,000-£39,000

Job Type: Permanent

We are delighted to be supporting a close-knit, forward-thinking architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering creative designs inspired by the stunning surroundings of the South Coast. The practice specializes in the residential sector, working on a range of projects from extensions to luxury private homes and larger developments.

As an Architectural Technician, you will become an integral member of a growing practice dedicated to providing continued professional development opportunities. You will work on a range of exciting projects, with a number of projects in the pipeline.

The successful candidate will have a proven record across the later RIBA stages, with strong technical expertise and experience across residential projects. Key skills and experience include:

  • Substantial relevant post-qualification experience in the UK
  • A degree in architectural technology or similar HND/HNC
  • Technical expertise in Vectorworks is beneficial
  • Sector experience in residential of varying scales and ideally bespoke homes
  • A passionate and self-motivated approach to work and professional development
  • Experience managing a small team and projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Substantial experience on the later RIBA stages (4 onwards)
  • Job running experience
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Understanding of BIM Models
  • Good working knowledge of up-to-date building regulations
  • Ability to work well in a close-knit team
  • Excellent knowledge across construction stages
  • Confident liaising with contractors, clients, and other professionals
