Position: Domestic Services Supervisor
Salary: £02 per hour (enhanced overtime rates applicable)

Overview:

Join our dedicated team at Viewpoint Housing Association Ltd, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the domestic and laundry operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the domestic and laundry staff, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and meticulous attention to detail to provide a professional service to our residents.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of domestic and laundry staff to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Organize and ensure completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of curtains, linens, towels, and personal items, ensuring they are presented to a high standard.
  • Monitor stock levels for domestic and laundry supplies, assisting in budget-conscious ordering.

Qualifications:

While formal qualifications are not mandatory, candidates should possess:

  • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A strong desire to manage domestic and laundry processes effectively.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and laundry services.
  • Excellent knowledge of infection control standards and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills.
