Salary: £30K per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our expanding team. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing a range of building surveying services to clients, including contract administration, dilapidations, party wall, landlord and tenant, defect analysis and rectification, developing a client's brief, project delivery, JCT contract administration, technical compliance, specification writing, and producing schedules of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently with a strong team spirit and a positive attitude to service delivery
  • Deliver core building surveying services, including contract administration, dilapidations, party wall, landlord and tenant, defect analysis and rectification, developing a client's brief, project delivery, JCT contract administration, technical compliance, specification writing, and producing schedules of work
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of a range of building surveying services
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the company

Requirements:

  • Relevant Construction Degree in Building Surveying & working towards final assessment with RICS or recently completed APC
  • Working knowledge of a range of building surveying services
  • Ability to work independently with a strong team spirit and a positive attitude to service delivery
  • Experience or understanding in delivering core building surveying services

Additional Skills:

  • Awareness of the Principal Designer role
  • Design experience (using AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of NEC Contracts (Option C)
  • Project Cost Control
