- Implementing proactive communication strategies to manage national and local announcements, focusing on diverse media outlets and consumer engagement.

- Collaborating with colleagues across the organization to identify stories and information, and coordinating with various communication functions, including marketing, public affairs, and internal communications, to create cohesive and effective communication plans.

- Utilizing cost-effective media strategies to attract new donors and discover emerging trends and channels to engage our target demographics.

- Participating in a 24/7 press office environment, handling proactive media inquiries, and managing both national and local announcements.

- Working alongside colleagues to strategize and source compelling stories, creative content, and information for multi-channel campaigns, ensuring impactful media coverage resonates with our audiences. Employing your keen news sense and creativity to produce high-quality, engaging media materials tailored to various media types and audiences.

- Cultivating strong relationships with key journalists and utilizing cost-effective media strategies to recruit new donors and identify new trends and channels.

Travel may be required, and you may need to work irregular hours and stay overnight as necessary, with prior notice.
