About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bank Optometrist to join our team at Optegra, a leading specialist eye care provider. As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside consultants to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out pre and post-operative consultations to assess patient suitability for treatment
  • Conduct examinations associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries
  • Run acute and follow-up clinics for patients post-surgery
  • Provide health advice and support to patients attending the hospital
  • Offer first-line clinical advice to patients and refer to medical practitioners as necessary
Requirements
  • Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
  • Extensive experience working as an optometrist in a refractive, high street, or hospital environment
  • Experience using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
  • Experience working to conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
