Job Overview

Optegra is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in our Hampshire eye hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside consultants to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre and post-operative consultations to assess patient suitability for treatment
- Run acute and follow-up clinics for patients undergoing surgery
- Provide health advice and support to patients attending the hospital
- Offer first-line clinical advice to patients and refer to medical practitioners as necessary

Requirements

- Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
- Extensive experience working in a hospital and either IP or YAG trained
- Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
