Reed is currently working with a large, nationally recognized manufacturing business that is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team on a 4-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To collaborate with the wider HR team across sites to develop policies and procedures in line with best practices and legislative requirements.
  • To support culture change initiatives and drive employee engagement by participating in strategic HR projects and providing support as needed.
  • To advise on and administer the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process within best practice guidelines and budgetary constraints, working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition.
  • To lead and manage the Community & Charity Calendar, working with other HR Business Partners to create a community forum of volunteers and engage team members in various events and recognition days throughout the year.
  • To advise on and coordinate performance development reviews and training/development requirements.
  • To drive talent management and succession planning activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • To advise management on employee relations issues, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in line with HR policy, procedure, and legislative requirements.
  • To analyze and prepare high-quality reports and HR presentations as required by HR and the business.
  • To project manage HR and business-related projects that require HR lead or support.
  • To liaise with trade unions as needed to ensure policies and procedures are applied and implemented as necessary.

**Requirements:**

  • HR or business graduate desirable.
  • Part or fully CIPD qualified or willingness to work towards.
