Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to oversee the financial operations of our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the firm's financial operations, including client and office accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
  • Client Account Management: Manage the processing of client account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Reconciliation and Compliance: Reconcile client account balances regularly and conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all firm accounts, ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, including cash flow forecasts, profit and loss statements, and other key financial metrics.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax-related filings, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Significant experience as a Legal Cashier, with a strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing client accounts, billing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
