Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Richmond Square Consulting Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of software development projects and product-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Facilitate the clarification and communication of project requirements, objectives, and priorities.
  • Work closely with customers, Product Managers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct estimation and planning workshops to ensure project scope and budget alignment.
  • Develop and maintain overall project plans, prioritized user stories, release, and sprint plans.
  • Manage project scope and budget, aligned to commercial agreements.
  • Manage changes to scope/requirements and report project status to customers and stakeholders.
  • Engage problem-solving skills to identify risk and issues, take mitigating actions, and remove project obstacles.
  • Ensure sustainable product design and implementation in line with best practice, relevant standards, and technological developments.
  • Deliver high-quality, innovative software that truly delivers business value.
  • Coordinate the transition to Support from the Project team following successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in customer software/IT solution project management.
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing software projects.
  • Recognized Project Management Qualification (PRINCE II, Agile Project Management).
  • Experience in an agile environment preferably SCRUM.
  • Excellent English and communication skills, and the ability to build consensus amongst all stakeholders.
  • Budget management.
  • Strong leadership and scope negotiation skills.
