Job Title: Mid-level Financial Analyst

Location: Stafford, VA

Introduction:

Honu Services is a leading provider of professional support services to the Marine Corps Systems Command. We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-level Financial Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide financial management support to a Marine Corps Systems Command information technology portfolio. This will involve providing knowledge, support, and sound guidance in financial management, including the full Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution lifecycle.

Duties:

The Mid-level Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial analysis and support to multiple levels of the portfolio
  • Running financial data queries, reconciling and validating data, and coordinating data error corrections with government financial analysts
  • Researching financial and contract records, running reports, and refreshing dashboards
  • Developing and enhancing financial databases, queries, workflows, dashboards, and reports to inform decision makers more effectively

Compensation:

Minimum: $104,000

Maximum: $117,000

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • At least four years of DoD financial analysis experience, preferably in a portfolio or program office
  • Proficiency with relational databases, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Platform apps preferably at least Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and interest in optimizing SharePoint for data and dashboards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Education or Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
