Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will concentrate on managing international entities, aiming to cultivate and sustain robust relationships with essential business stakeholders both within the organization and externally. Your role will involve overseeing all financial controls and systems, while also recommending potential operational efficiencies and enhancements to existing practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely completion of all critical tasks in accordance with accounting policies, taking full ownership of balance sheet accounts and conducting reviews with Finance Managers.
2. Collaborate across various departments and with key stakeholders to facilitate the financial reporting process.
3. Uphold compliance with accounting policies and maintain the integrity of the Global Fixed Assets register.
4. Manage and coordinate accounting period-end close activities.
5. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including those related to assets under construction projects, and liaise with balance sheet owners as necessary.
6. Prepare financial reports while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
7. Supervise accounting operations across international legal entities, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax statutory obligations.
8. Generate information to assist in the preparation of Audited Financial Statements.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Fixed Assets journal processing by collaborating with site and finance teams, ensuring that the system of accounts and records is accurately maintained.
2. Engage in stakeholder management, including forecasting for Fixed Asset Register depreciation and balance sheets.
3. Foster the development of team members, including those on the apprenticeship scheme.

Qualifications:
1. Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
2. Extensive experience in multi-currency component asset accounting, particularly in relation to global construction projects.
3. Preferred awareness of the impact of global taxation on Fixed Assets.
4. Experience with complex fixed asset systems and data structures.
5. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
