Senior Flood Risk Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join our team in York. As a key member of our multidisciplinary Engineering and Planning Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct flood risk assessments and surface water management plans for residential, commercial, and retail projects
  • Develop and review detailed drainage designs using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in flood risk management and hydrology
Requirements:
  • Strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience in flood risk assessment, surface water management, and drainage design
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Chartered status or working towards it
