Security Officer

Securitas is expanding its presence in the Harlow, Chelmsford, and Basildon areas, seeking Relief Security Officers to cover a variety of clients.
42 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to include days, nights, and weekends.
Competitive hourly rate of £12, plus fuel expenses based on location.

Job Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Access control of the building and monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
- Carrying out routine patrols across the site and identifying potential security threats.
- Responding to suspicious activity and retaining control until the arrival of external agencies.
- Monitoring loss and waste, reporting any incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.
Essential Skills
Requirements:
- SIA License (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid driving license
- 5-year checkable employment history and right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to travel within the designated areas
