Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Relief Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Relief Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients in the Harlow, Chelmsford, and Basildon areas.
The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and will be required to travel to different locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, as well as providing a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: You will be responsible for controlling access to our clients' premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed to enter.
- Monitoring Systems: You will be responsible for monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems, and carrying out routine checks as required.
- Patrols: You will be required to carry out patrols across the site, ensuring that all areas are secure and that there are no potential security risks.
- Incident Response: You will be responsible for responding to any incidents or suspicious activity, and for retaining control of any threatening behavior until the arrival of the police or other external agencies.
- Loss and Waste: You will be responsible for monitoring loss and waste, and for reporting any incidents to management.
Essential Skills:
- SIA License: You will need to hold a valid SIA license, or be willing to train to achieve this.
- Driving License: You will need to hold a valid driving license.
- Employment History: You will need to have a 5-year checkable employment history and the right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility: You will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Travel: You will need to be able to travel to different locations in the Harlow, Chelmsford, and Basildon areas.
