Nursery Assistant

Five Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Worker to join our team. As a Nursery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist nursery staff in ensuring the care and welfare of children at the nursery.
- Meet the individual needs of children throughout the day, with a focus on supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for children to play and learn.
- Participate in planning and implementing engaging activities to promote children's learning and development.
- Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- A flexible and resourceful approach to work.
- Experience in Early Years settings or a willingness to learn about them.
- A valid right to work in the UK.
- Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
- Access to a bicycle, car, or near main bus routes.
- Able to work 8:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.87, inclusive of holiday pay.
- Free specialized training in areas such as Team Teach, Makaton, and Autism Awareness.
- Free DBS (refunded when you work 5 days).
- Subsidized initial DBS cost.
- Specialist support and mentoring while working.
