Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, taking full responsibility in their absence.
- Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects our values.
- Contribute to the success of the store by achieving sales targets, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising, and maximizing sales through physical and digital channels.
- Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to achieve expectations within campaign activities and generate stock.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results.
- Commercially driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards.
- An inclusive approach to developing teams, with a focus on creating a positive and supportive work environment.
- Results-driven, with a focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
