Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Shrewsbury. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and taking full responsibility in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
- Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Ensure the store is visually merchandised to the highest standard
- Maximise sales through physical and digital channels
- Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers
- Work with the Store Manager to generate stock and manage inventory
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
- Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading a team
- Commercially driven, with a focus on achieving sales targets and improving customer service
- Inclusive approach to developing teams and promoting diversity and inclusion
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards
