Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain frontend web views using React, JavaScript, and HTML5
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data exchange
  • Deliver visually appealing and user-friendly frontend experiences that meet the highest standards
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure smooth project delivery and meet deadlines
  • Contribute to the development of front-end standards and best practices within the company
  • Take ownership of improving and maintaining frontend code quality
  • Review and test own and peer's code to minimize issues and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Work with the UX design team to ensure frontend views align with the company's style guide
Vital Experience:

We are looking for candidates with advanced skills in the following areas:

  • JavaScript and ES6+ with a strong focus on React (3+ years of experience)
  • HTML5 and SCSS with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of AWS Lambda and CloudWatch is desirable but not required
  • Version control using Git
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Writing unit tests using React Testing Library and Jest
  • Knowledge of scalability, readability, and maintainability principles
  • Experience working with chatbots is beneficial
Location:

We operate a hybrid working environment, and this role can be performed from home or in our office in Solihull, Midlands. However, you must be based in the UK and able to attend the office 2-3 times a week.
