About the Role

The European Veterinary Corporates Customer Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and development for Colgate-Palmolive Company's veterinary business in Europe. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key European veterinary corporate customers, understanding their strategies and organizations, and developing joint business plans to achieve short and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and elevate partnerships with European veterinary corporate customers, understanding their customer strategies, organizations, and future plans.
  • Prepare and negotiate terms and conditions during tenders, supporting local veterinary corporate key account managers with terms and conditions for country agreements.
  • Lead the development of annual joint business plans in alignment with customer strategy and Hill's regional priorities to achieve short and long-term objectives.
  • Build a European catman vision for veterinary clinics and roll out to countries.
  • Ensure distribution policy implementation and compliance are clear and followed by local teams, providing guidance and support.
  • Build a European veterinary corporate key account team to align priorities and secure execution of Hill's initiatives.
  • Participate and engage local key account managers to optimize commercial outstanding execution and drive 'test and learn' initiatives to leverage growth opportunities.
  • Visit countries for joint customer meetings.
  • Drive catman (RCD) implementation with veterinary corporates across the region.
  • Work with corporate PVA support and corporate customers to ensure continuing education is made available to staff.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
  • 7+ years of experience in customer development/sales/marketing.
  • Experience in key account management, strong knowledge and awareness of the veterinary channel.
  • Excellent oral and written English.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others to make changes that deliver business results.

  • Ability to make sound decisions under conditions of uncertainty or complexity.
