We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a Mechanic MET Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repair work to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles.
  • Ensure stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel area.
  • Carry out inspections and order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
  • Strip and fit components, bodywork, and trim elements.
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition.
  • Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics.
  • Perform road testing (if applicable).
  • Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair method.
About You
  • You will hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical repairs.
  • You will have experience in stripping, refitting vehicles.
  • You will have the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced Bodyshop and take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your own work.
  • You will be capable of working to the highest standard and demonstrate sound, up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • You will have strong time management and organisational skills.
