Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess damaged components and determine the repair process.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on completed components.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed.
  • Assist with the maintenance of a clean and organised workshop.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure the timely completion of repairs.
  • Ensure all parts and components are stored and handled correctly.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry developments.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
