Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual with strong communication and administrative skills to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. This role is essential in providing front desk and administrative assistance to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support, including producing letters from audio and typed notes with precision.
  • Manage general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining patient records accurately.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring all details are updated in the patient management system.
  • Participate in weekly clinical meetings, taking minutes and contributing to team discussions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and phone inquiries, providing assistance and directing them to the appropriate staff.

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, particularly within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong typing skills, including audio typing, with a focus on producing documents to a high standard.
  • Excellent understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.
