Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing expert therapeutic interventions, guidance, and training to our service users, promoting their emotional wellbeing and transition out of formal mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic plans to meet the unique needs of our service users.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
- Provide guidance and training to staff members on therapeutic approaches and best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Work closely with families and carers to ensure their involvement and support in the therapeutic process.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in therapeutic interventions, preferably in a social care or youth work setting.
- Strong background in emotional health and wellbeing, with a focus on evidence-based approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing needs.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel across Essex.
