Audit and Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Aberystwyth. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, preparing accounts for non-audit clients, and reviewing work prepared by junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion
  • Prepare accounts for non-audit clients
  • Review work prepared by junior staff members
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing support and guidance
  • Present work to Managers, completing files to a high standard
  • Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance
  • Handle compliance queries from clients
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities
  • Mentor and support new trainees, supporting their learning and development

Requirements:
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, or finalist, with previous accountancy practice experience
  • Experience in the provision of audits
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a drive to progress
  • Technically efficient in both audit and accounting
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An appetite to progress and take on a supervisory role within the firm
