Job Title: Employment Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Specialist to join our team at TDA Telecoms. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in achieving their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide tailored support to clients to help them overcome barriers to employment and achieve their employment goals.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of client activity and outcomes.
  • Employer Engagement: Work proactively with external employers to open up and secure job opportunities for clients.
  • Workplace Support: Offer advice and support to employers, including negotiating workplace adjustments and maintaining contact to ensure job retention.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate employment workshops and collaborate with other team members to support clients.
  • Agency Collaboration: Build relationships with external agencies to help individuals achieve their employment goals.
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintain a professional relationship with clients and staff, respecting confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Have a valid Enhanced DBS and experience working in employment services, ideally within a clinical or supported employment setting.
  • Skills: Strong case management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the IPS model.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including clinical teams and external agencies.
