Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nursery staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by engaging children in enjoyable and educational activities, promoting their development towards essential milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks in accordance with nursery requirements, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Uphold child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, nurturing, and secure environment for all children.

Desired Qualifications

  • Full and Relevant Level 2 or higher Early Years qualification
  • Prior experience working with children in roles such as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder
  • A genuine passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and adults
  • A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles
  • Flexibility and adaptability in various situations
