About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism in our supported living services in the Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and wider support networks to promote their health and wellbeing, independence, and community connections.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to maximize service users' potential and achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Provide direct care and support, including acting as a Key Worker to support individuals in achieving their goals and dreams.
  • Contribute to a positive team approach, demonstrating a strong work ethic and duty of care.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism (although not essential if you can demonstrate a 'can-do approach', person-centred values, energy, and commitment).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality support plans.
  • Ability to work independently, using your own initiative, and lone work.
  • Essential to be a car driver and car owner (or have access to a vehicle), with mileage allowance paid.
