Phlebotomy Instructor Opportunity

Rappahannock Community College seeks a part-time phlebotomy instructor to provide laboratory and clinical supervision for phlebotomy students at our Glenns campus and remote clinical agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach phlebotomy courses to students in a comprehensive community college setting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of adult learners and at-risk students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve academic performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a collegial environment of civility, collaboration, and open communication
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • National certification in Medical Laboratory Technology and/or Phlebotomy
  • At least two years of full-time experience in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with national certification
  • Experience teaching in an adult education program
