Job Title: Phlebotomy Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary:

Rappahannock Community College seeks part-time phlebotomy instructors to provide laboratory and clinical supervision for phlebotomy students at our Glenns campus and remote clinical agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach phlebotomy courses to students in a comprehensive community college setting.
  • Provide laboratory and clinical supervision for phlebotomy students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Participate in the governance of the educational unit.

Requirements:

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, National certification in Medical Laboratory Technology and/or Phlebotomy, and at least two years of full-time experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate of Science (BS) in Medical Laboratory Technology with national certification and at least one year of experience teaching in an adult education program.
