About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Arla Foods Settle Creamery. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our site, tackling breakdowns, and leading preventative maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Qualified to ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation within fast-paced production, process, or packaging environments
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, and Trend systems
