Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the clinical team with healthcare assessments and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Undertake clinical supervisions to monitor patient progress and provide guidance to colleagues.
  • Provide harm reduction support, information, and advice to individuals in relation to substance misuse, promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
  • Conduct detoxification assessments and health assessments, identifying individual needs and developing personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and facilitate community detoxifications, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform BBV screening and immunizations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Refer individuals to other services to meet their health and well-being needs, ensuring comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • Competence in venepuncture, observations, ECG, and health promotion advice.
  • Desirable: BLS training and experience working in a substance misuse setting.
