About the Role

The Royal Court Theatre is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People and Governance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our governance and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Administration: Manage key HR procedures, systems, and records, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Governance Support: Assist with trustee activities, including statutory board meetings, paperwork, and committee administration.
  • Internal Communications: Ensure effective internal communications and administration across all teams, including managing a high volume of correspondence and documentation.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Administrative Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role in a busy office environment or similar context.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using different systems and databases, including InDesign for publication layout.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of HR and charity governance issues, anti-racism and anti-oppression in the workplace, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
