We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in our emergency department, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our emergency care strategy, working closely with our clinical leadership team.
- Provide teaching and supervision to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals, sharing your expertise and knowledge to support their development.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, working to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Collaborate with our colleagues in other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient flow.

Person Specification- Completed Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine or equivalent competency.
- Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register via Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
- Full GMC Registration.
- European Community Rights.
- Provider status at ALS, ATLS, and either PALS or APLS.
- Fellow of College of Emergency Medicine.
- Subspeciality training in Paediatrics.
- Interest in developing use of Ultrasound (FAST).
- Instructor status in either ATLS/APLS/ALS/ETC.
