Job Title: Neonatal Sister

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Sister to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our maternity ward, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing staff.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to neonates and their families

• Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

• RGN qualification

• Qualified Mentor/Assessor

• MA/MSc in a health-related topic

• Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Education (desirable)

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing

• Experience in participating in audits

Person Specification:

• Knowledge of current indicators and developments related to surgical areas

• Understanding of service constraints and developments

• Formal and informal teaching skills

Education/Qualifications:

• RGN

• Qualified Mentor/Assessor

• MA/MSc in a health-related topic

Desirable Criteria:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Education

• Understanding of process for nurses from non-EEA countries to gain an NMC registration
