Position Overview:


As a Standards Compliance Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to negotiate and implement all relevant Worldwide, European, and UK standards and regulations concerning the production of electrical professional and consumer products.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with peer manufacturers and relevant regulatory bodies to establish new and revised standards
  • Engaging with trade organizations to advocate for your interests
  • Coordinating with the manufacturing facility to ensure effective communication and compliance
  • The Ideal Candidate: The successful applicant will have experience in product design or mechanical engineering within the electrical consumer products sector and will have adhered to UK, European, and Worldwide standards and regulations throughout the design process.

Key Attributes Required:

  • A creative problem solver with the capability to understand challenges and articulate solutions
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 10 times per year
  • Meticulous attention to detail
Additionally, a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
