Job Title: Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of the building services engineering consultancy, you will work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Research, Transport, and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop initial engineering concepts and deliver detailed designs and specifications.
  • Support the development of engineering solutions and systems within the built environment.
  • Conduct site surveys and investigations, and ensure designs are implemented effectively.
  • Create reports to demonstrate compliance with standards and best practice.
  • Inspect installations to review progress, quality, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a multi-disciplinary, building services, or engineering consultancy.
  • Proficiency in software packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech, BIM, Relux, Dialux, and IES.
  • Professional qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Working towards or holding a Member or Associate of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) certification.
  • Clear understanding of mechanical building services design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
