AppDynamics Specialist Role

Join Vallum Associates as an AppDynamics Specialist and take on a challenging role that requires collaboration with clients to understand their application environments, business goals, and performance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze performance data collected by AppD to identify bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis on outages.
  • Develop custom queries and metrics to enhance visibility into key problem areas.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and administering AppD controller and agents with different environments.
  • Monitor large-scale applications and create custom dashboards to track important business transactions.
  • Set up application baselines, transaction thresholds, and snapshot collection.
  • Create Health Rules, Policies, Alerts, and Actions.
  • Experience with End User Monitoring, Real User Monitoring, Analytics, Infrastructure, Database, and Network visibility.
  • Troubleshoot slow database calls using transaction snapshots and diagnostic sessions.
  • Gather and measure end-to-end business transaction performance.
  • Integrate with other observability products such as 1000 eyes, DataDog, and Splunk.

Requirements:

  • Experience with AppDynamics and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment.
  • Contract Inside IR35.
