Role Overview: What does an Infrastructure Project Specialist do at Hillingdon?

The London Borough of Hillingdon is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a proactive and qualified Infrastructure Project Specialist to contribute to the development and execution of our Electric Vehicle Charge Point initiative.

This position presents a fantastic opportunity to introduce innovative practices to Hillingdon and to spearhead funding proposals aimed at achieving our goal of a cleaner, greener, and healthier borough. Collaborating with key external stakeholders, this role is crucial for the long-term strategic planning of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure within the borough.

Reporting directly to the Head of Highways/Street Lighting Manager, this newly established position will concentrate on reviewing strategies and action plans for the deployment of various charge points throughout the borough, procuring new service providers, and collaborating with existing team members to facilitate the ongoing rollout of the council's charge point delivery program.
